OOC PERMISSIONS

Usual tagging times/pace: EST. Tag pace varies wildly, but is usually anywhere from boomerang to a couple days tops.

Backtagging: Forever and ever.

Fourthwalling policy: Preferably vague references at absolute most.

Action vs. Prose: No strong preference; I'll match to my partner(s).

Offensive Subjects & Triggers: None that I can think of.


IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: For his part, Sid loves the thrill of a fight, and will gladly take people up on sparring matches. But he's also inclined to attack first if he deems it necessary (i.e. you're threatening people he gives half a damn about, or people who have no means of defending themselves to begin with). So far be it from me to say your character can't pick a fight first, right? ;)

Mental Information: As far as mental state goes, he's stable but very, very jaded. He's lost family, friends, and master over the course of his lifetime, leaving him all but alone with the exception of Rielle. So, understandably, he's a bit of a surly jackass, but one with a conscience, at least. Those with the ability to read emotions or thoughts will probably pick up that he's not a bad guy, just a really deeply scarred one. He might be just a touch unhappy about being mind-read IC, but I'm fine with it to a certain extent OOC.

Physical Affection: OOC, I encourage it, since the reaction will be priceless. IC, Sid is kind of averse to physical contact that isn't hostile (he prefers it when you're trying to kill him, apparently, because at least he knows how to react to that), and it'll probably be like hugging a cactus, both because of that armor and because he'll get prickly about it. But if none of that deters your character, go for it.

IC Triggers: Please talk to him about moogles and watch the fireworks fly. Of all the hardship he's been through in his life, little pisses him off more than fucking moogles. To a lesser extent, don't threaten anyone he cares about unless you want him to wreck you -- he's extremely, violently protective of anyone he gets attached to.

Relationships: I'll take all kinds of CR, up to and including romantic ships, familial, friendships, rivalries, and enemies. I'd rather it develop organically, whatever it ends up becoming, but please don't be afraid to throw ideas at me and we can see what sticks!

Are you interested in participating in the game's smut opt-ins? I sure am. He'll be pretty unenthusiastic at first about it, but he's a grown-ass man, so whatever, he'll deal. As long as it's not personal. (Yeah, right...)

If yes, please state your preferences: Kinklist. Sid is 26, so I'd prefer to stay in the 18-30 bracket if possible, though I may make exceptions for castmates or close CR that seems to fit the bill. I'll write both M/M and M/F; my preferences are pretty flexible.

Sidurgu has been taken from patch 4.0 of FFXIV, so if you haven't played Stormblood's MSQ to completion yet and would like to stay unspoiled for the level 60-70 DRK quests (or any of them, really), please please please let me know!
